ARIZONA & BIG L RANCH
BIG L RANCH - SELIGMAN ARIZONA
Nestled between Kingman and Flagstaff Arizona, Big L Ranch sits atop a prestine little mountain 6000 feet above sea level. About 20 miles west of Seligman, Big L Ranch is a living spirit of the Old West. There is no running water, power pole electricity, or modern day ammenities of any type located on the ranch for it is truly primitive living at its best. The ranch is powered by solar elecetricity and water is hauled in on a weekly basis. Hot water is provided by heating a large pot on the stove fueled by propane and the ranch's small home is warmed strictly by large logs chopped every fall and piled into the wood burning stove. The ranch plays host to a myriad of wild animals from Antelope to Mountain Lions. Views are simply breathtaking and can be taken in from any direction, going the distance for miles and miles. There are no paved roads yet the Interstate 40 can be seen upon the mountain top.
